Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and light equipment safely under supervision
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Load/un construction materials and equipment as directed
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and digging
- Complete daily cleanup duties and report maintenance needs
- Adapt to changing project requirements and weather conditions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Los Angeles
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Team player with strong work ethic and punctuality
