Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, loading/unloading materials, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light machinery safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and forklifts (with certification)
- Report safety hazards and maintenance issues to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Background check and drug screen required
