Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools under supervisor guidance (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet OSHA safety standards
- Support skilled tradesmen with tasks like digging trenches, mixing concrete, or framing
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to ensure project accuracy
- Participate in daily safety briefings and emergency drills
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid government-issued ID
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Memphis area
- Positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
- No experience required – training provided
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per day
