Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper techniques
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power tools under supervision
- Follow blueprints and instructions from site supervisors to complete tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet safety standards
- Support skilled trades (carpenters, masons) with material handling and basic assembly
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
