Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Perform demolition tasks using hand and power tools under supervision
- Operate basic equipment like jackhammers, saws, and drills safely
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized work areas
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support carpenters and other trades with material delivery and cleanup
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- No prior experience required – training provided
