Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradesmen on construction sites
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and transport supplies to work areas
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions
- Operate hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and power tools (saws, drills)
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and manual labor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- No prior experience necessary—training provided
