Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Assist with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Participate in team briefings and communicate progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- No prior experience required – paid training provided
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
