Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in material handling, site preparation, and cleanup operations
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain job site safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and material transport
- Participate in team briefings and follow project specifications accurately
- Support equipment operation training and basic machinery maintenance
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Must be physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability focus
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-sponsored)
