Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision of licensed electricians
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Follow strict safety protocols and comply with California Electrical Code and OSHA standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and system diagnostics
- Participate in residential and commercial projects across San Francisco
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and concepts
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
