Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wire pulling, and device installation
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform safety inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Document work progress and maintain organized job site records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and concepts
- Ability to use hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting 50+ lbs
- Willingness to obtain Florida electrician apprentice license within 6 months
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
