Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Safely install, connect, and test electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on electrical systems
- Adhere strictly to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Florida Building Code requirements
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper safety protocols
- Document work progress and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing, lifting, confined spaces)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to obtain Florida electrical apprentice license within 6 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
