Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Follow strict safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC and WA state requirements)
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, conduit installation, and circuit testing
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Washington State electrician apprentice certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and measurement skills for accurate installations
