Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with residential and commercial installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems per code requirements
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on electrical components
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and California electrical regulations
- Operate hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment safely
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in apprenticeship training programs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to obtain electrician certification within 6 months
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
