Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Interpret blueprints and collaborate with supervisors/contractors
- Perform site cleanup and waste management per EPA standards
- Assist in emergency storm damage repairs (hurricane season readiness)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
