Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NEC standards
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, circuit testing, and troubleshooting
- Operate hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing training for new technologies and techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical principles (or willingness to learn)
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will provide if needed)
- No prior experience necessary – training provided!
