Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code standards
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures for electrical issues
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wire pulling, and device installation
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and follow all OSHA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of hand/power tools and electrical components
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to obtain Texas electrician license within 12 months
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
