Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Prepare work areas and organize materials for efficient project completion
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians to execute tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of electrical concepts and tools preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications within 6 months
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
