Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Install and maintain wiring, conduits, switches, and outlets
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure code compliance and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power equipment (drills, saws, testers) under supervision
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift 50+ lbs
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship training
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Tampa Bay
- Pass background check and drug screening
