Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install wiring, conduits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC standards
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues and malfunctions
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly handle tools/equipment
- Complete detailed documentation for work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certification a plus
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Willingness to obtain required state licensing within 12 months
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn through hands-on training
