Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to plan installations
- Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and California regulations
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues safely
- Assist senior electricians with complex projects and system upgrades
- Perform inspections and testing to verify system functionality
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow safety protocols
- Document work orders and project progress for client reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and safety standards
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to obtain California Electrician Trainee certification
