Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Prepare and maintain job sites, tools, and equipment
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in safety training and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain Nebraska electrician license within 6 months
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Reliable transportation required
