Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical schematics
- Perform safety checks and maintain clean work sites per OSHA standards
- Install and wire lighting fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment under supervision
- Document work progress and material usage for project reports
- Participate in ongoing skills training modules
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – we train everyone!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte
- Pass background check and drug screening
