Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Use specialized tools and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and best practices workshops
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas electrician apprentice license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and circuitry
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and tolerate outdoor conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training programs
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the Dallas metroplex
