Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Illinois regulations
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and system failures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely
- Document work activities and maintain job site cleanliness
- Participate in safety training and adhere to OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to obtain Illinois electrician license within 12 months
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
