Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, conduit bending, and circuit installations
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school certification a plus)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain required electrical certifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Pass background check and drug screening
