Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Install conduits, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components following safety protocols
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for electrical issues
- Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper tool usage
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary—training provided
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to complete state-mandated apprenticeship program
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
