Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes (NEC)
- Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues and perform troubleshooting
- Install and wire residential/commercial components including outlets, switches, and panels
- Document work performed and maintain accurate job records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Willingness to obtain California electrician trainee certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in various environments (residential, commercial, industrial)
- Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Team player with excellent communication skills
