Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute wiring plans
- Ensure compliance with Florida Electrical Code (FEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels
- Use hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
- Document work orders and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic understanding of electrical principles (wiring, circuits, voltage)
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/heights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue electrician certification (company-sponsored training available)
