Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior electricians with complex installations and repairs
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Document work performed and maintain project logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana electrician apprentice license (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor and tool operation
