Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
- Perform diagnostic testing using multimeters and specialized tools
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- No prior electrical experience required
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to pursue state electrical certification
