Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical specifications to execute electrical layouts
- Install wiring, conduit, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Conduct safety inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Adhere to NEC codes and OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians on project completion
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain California electrician certification within 6 months
