Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation, excavation, and concrete work with precision
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction tasks
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Georgia driver's license preferred but not required
