Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Title 24 standards
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects and safety protocols
- Document work performed and maintain accurate project records
- Assist in emergency electrical repairs and maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational school certification preferred
- Valid California electrician trainee or apprentice license (T-Card)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures
- Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain necessary certifications within 6 months
