Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical components and materials
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and circuitry
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
