Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute wiring plans
- Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters and diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending and circuit installations
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels
- Document work orders and maintain job site safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited electrical trade program OR 1+ years hands-on experience
- Valid California Electrician Trainee (ET) certification
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools and safety procedures
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
