Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in residential/commercial properties per blueprints and safety standards
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures
- Assist senior electricians with conduit bending, wire pulling, and circuit installations
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA regulations
- Document work orders, material usage, and project progress
- Participate in emergency call-outs for urgent electrical issues
- Complete apprenticeship modules and skill assessments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic electrical knowledge (voltage, circuits, wiring methods)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to obtain Florida electrician license within 12 months
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
