Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Perform equipment inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with journeyman electricians on commercial/residential projects
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Basic hand tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
