Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and equipment following safety protocols
- Conduct inspections using testing equipment to ensure code compliance
- Prepare work areas, organize materials, and maintain clean job sites
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and OSHA compliance practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to obtain required NYC electrical license within 6 months
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- No prior experience required – training provided
