Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot wiring, fixtures, and control systems
- Ensure strict adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Perform safety inspections and maintain clean work environments
- Participate in apprenticeship training programs and skill development
- Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults and implement solutions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in outdoor conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
