Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and hands-on training modules
- Document work progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and measurement proficiency
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program (4-year commitment)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across North Carolina
- Pass background check and drug screening
