Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Safely use hand tools and power equipment for wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform residential and commercial electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and electrical panels
- Document work activities and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Strong commitment to safety procedures
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (journeyman license)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Wichita and surrounding areas
