Responsibilities
- Perform high-voltage and low-voltage electrical installations in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical system failures efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies strictly with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Virginia regulations.
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices on proper techniques, safety protocols, and code compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license issued by the State of Virginia.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, power distribution, and motor controls.
- Proficiency with modern testing equipment, multimeters, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
