Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision of licensed electricians
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC electrical codes and safety protocols
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and system failures
- Participate in residential wiring, conduit bending, and circuit installations
- Document work activities and maintain project records
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards at all job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
