Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance with local codes.
- Prepare and organize job sites, including laying out materials and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Document work completed and report any material shortages or equipment issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- No prior experience required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
