Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn and adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, mounting boxes, and identifying circuit breakers.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Study technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding job progress and issues.
- Operate power tools and test equipment under strict supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics (fractions, decimals) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure within the apprenticeship timeframe.
