Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting on equipment and circuits.
- Ensure all work is completed in strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Organize job sites, keep tools and materials organized, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and potential issues.
- Complete all required safety training and documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
- Willingness to obtain a Georgia Electrician License upon completion of training.
