Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Lead weekend shift teams to execute projects safely and efficiently
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and facility managers
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (Kansas required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Expertise in conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Strong diagnostic skills with multimeters, clamp meters, and circuit testers
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
