Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by digging trenches, setting poles, and installing conduit and wiring.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies on every job site.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and homeowners, maintaining a positive company image.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- License: No prior license required; we provide training.
- Driver’s License: Valid, clean driving record required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math: Strong aptitude for basic math and measurements.
- Background: No felony convictions within the last 7 years.
- Attitude: Eager to learn, punctual, and team-oriented.
