As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of certified master electricians to learn the ins and outs of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. We pride ourselves on safety, quality workmanship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites by setting up equipment, laying out materials, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret and apply basic blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Tool Management: Properly handle, maintain, and organize electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Testing & Inspection: Assist in the testing of electrical systems to ensure they meet local and national codes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Driver’s License: A valid, clean driver's license is mandatory for site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Interest in Trades: A genuine interest in construction, engineering, or the electrical trade is essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with the team and supervisors.
