Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to understand project requirements.
- Install, assemble, and test electrical fixtures, wiring, and devices using hand and power tools.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of materials used and time spent on specific tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain an apprenticeship license or equivalent certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
